Corporate merger of Nippon Steel Corporation and Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd. (Deutsche acted as advisor to Sumitomo Metal)
Best IPO/PO Deal
United Urban Investment Corporation's IPO (Deutsche acted as Joint Bookrunner on the international tranche of its global offering)
Best International Bond Deal
Japan Bank for International Cooperation's three 5-year global-dollar bond issues (Deutsche acted as Joint Lead Manager for one of the three issues)
