Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB)

The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) combines Deutsche Bank Group’s Corporate Finance*, Equities, Fixed Income & Currencies (in Japan, Global Markets covers Equities and Fixed Income & Currencies) and Global Transaction Banking businesses. This new business division was created in 2017 with the aim to ensure greater alignment of product and sales efforts, enabling the bank to deliver a better service to clients and a more focused resource allocation.

Corporate Finance

Corporate Finance is comprised of regional and industry-focused coverage teams that ensure the delivery of the entire range of financial products and services to the bank’s corporate clients. Corporate Finance is represented in Japan by Deutsche Securities Inc.

Equities and Fixed Income & Currencies

Equities is a market-leading provider of equity and equity-linked products to institutional and corporate clients worldwide. The equities platform is built on four product lines – Equity Trading, Equity Derivatives, Global Investment Solutions and Prime Finance – setting the standard in trading, origination, financing and distribution.

Fixed Income & Currencies brings together a top-ranked institutional sales force, world-class research with trading and structuring expertise across Foreign Exchange, Rates, Credit and Emerging Markets. The Fixed Income & Currencies business enables Deutsche Bank to respond to increasing automation, regulatory expectations and client demand for standardisation and transparency in execution across fixed income, currency and emerging markets.

In Japan, Global Markets covers Equities and Fixed Income & Currencies. Global Markets is represented in Japan by Deutsche Securities Inc.

Global Transaction Banking

Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is a leading global provider of cash management, trade finance and securities services, delivering the full range of commercial banking products and services for both corporates and institutions worldwide. In Japan, Global Transaction Banking is represented by Deutsche Bank AG, Tokyo Branch except for Trust and Agency Services which are provided by Deutsche Trust Company Limited Japan.

Deutsche Asset Management (Deutsche AM) is one of the world’s leading investment management organizations. Deutsche Asset Management offers individuals and institutions traditional and alternative investments across all major asset classes.

Chief Investment Office
The Chief Investment Office has overall responsibility for Deutsche AM’s investment platform. It leads equity, fixed income and multi-asset portfolio management teams worldwide, as well as the business’ global research team. The Chief Investment Office is ultimately responsible for the performance of Deutsche AM’s active investment strategies, as well as having oversight of investment processes. It also generates Deutsche AM’s global investment outlook (CIO View).
