Gujarat International Finance Tec - (GIFT) City is India’s first operational smart city and International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). GIFT City is an emerging global financial and IT services hub, a first of its kind in India, designed to be at or above par with globally bench marked business districts.

It is supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure encompassing all basic urban infrastructure elements along with excellent external connectivity.

The International Financial Services Centers Authority (IFSCA) is the regulatory body for the GIFT IFSC, and it plays a pivotal role in overseeing and regulating the overall functioning of Gift City.

The IFSC Banking Unit (IBU) of Deutsche Bank was set up in GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, in July 2022. Level 2 – Complaint Redressal Appellate Officer (CRAO)

If a complaint is not disposed off within 30 days of acceptance or the complainant is not satisfied with the resolution provided by the Regulated Entity or if the complaint has been rejected by the Regulated Entity, the complainant may file an appeal before the CRAO preferably within 21 days from the receipt of the decision from the CRO

Level 3 – Grievance Redressal / International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA)

Where a complainant is not satisfied with the decision of the Regulated Entity and has exhausted the appellate mechanism of the Regulated Entity, he may file a complaint before the Authority through email preferably within 21 days from the receipt of the decision from the Regulated Entity to grievance-redressal@ifsca.gov.in
